Why matteberry

01

Black and African models come first

They are not an afterthought or a small corner of the library. They are the whole point.

02

Styled like a real campaign

The styling, lighting and art direction you would expect from a premium fashion shoot, not generic stock photos.

03

Made for African brands

If you run a brand, create or sell merch, your designs get shown on people who look like your customers.

Why I started matteberry

I kept noticing the same thing on mockup platforms. Most featured white models. And when I did find Black models, the options were limited, the styling often felt flat, and the images looked more like generic stock photography than fashion campaigns.

So I decided to create the mockups I wanted to find. Every Matteberry image puts Black and African models at the centre, with thoughtful styling, lighting and art direction that give the visuals the feel of a premium fashion campaign.

I believe brands and creators should have more choice in how they present their designs, without having to compromise on representation or visual quality. That's why I started Matteberry.
